About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Manager with expertise in Wealth and Asset Management to join our team at KPMG China. As a key member of our Financial Advisory Services team, you will work closely with top-tier private banks and retail banks' wealth and asset management divisions on industry-defining topics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and lead workstreams or small projects with limited oversight, driving strategic reviews and transformation initiatives.
  • Support wealth and asset managers in market analysis, business model review, and design, including implementation.
  • Develop and drive the storyboarding process, generating hypotheses and producing client-ready deliverables.
  • Conduct data and analytics review, including basic financial modeling, and develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, acting as an ambassador for KPMG China, and develop rapport and working relationships with junior clients.
  • Be a strong and effective team player, contributing to the success of our Financial Advisory Services team.
Requirements
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in consulting, asset management, product management, or regulatory roles.
  • Strong slide structuring and writing capabilities, with evidence of project management and workstream leadership.
  • Knowledge of wealth management operations, research skills, and project experience in regulatory and operational projects.
  • Project management certification and knowledge of Agile delivery will be an advantage.
  • Analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity.
  • Confidence, people skills, ambition, and pragmatism.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
