As a key member of our Wealth and Personal Banking organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the effective management of credit risk across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve underwriting and credit bureau management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk appetite.
- Lead a team of professionals responsible for credit assessments, verifications, and fraud checks, ensuring high-quality outcomes and adherence to risk policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Credit Risk, Operations, and Technology, to design and implement best-in-class lending originations journeys.
- Manage relationships with credit bureaus and external data providers, ensuring optimal consumption of data assets and maximizing returns on investment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders across FCS, Product, and Credit Risk, influencing strategic decisions and driving business growth.
- 15+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Underwriting, Originations, Credit Lifecycle management, or Lending Transformation.
- Past experience in Retail Banking, with a focus on Credit Operations/Underwriting, Credit Risk, Banking Operations, Product Management, Analytics, and Data Management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizations and influence senior management.
- Customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering good customer outcomes while managing multiple, complex dimensions across the credit process cycles.
- Ability to frame and deconstruct ambiguous problems, drive execution, and delivery.
