Job Title: Data Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for leading and working with our IT team to design and implement data solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead data discovery, data acquisition, and data integration efforts to ensure seamless data flow across the organization.
  2. Design and implement data models for our data lake, data warehouse, and data marts to support business intelligence and analytics.
  3. Collaborate with the IT team to develop data visualization and data governance strategies to ensure data quality and security.
  4. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging data management technologies and identify opportunities to leverage them to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  1. University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines.
  2. 10+ years of experience in data warehouse and analytics domain, with 5+ years in a leadership role in Big Data projects.
  3. Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Solid technical experience in data lake, data warehouse, and data mart design, batch/real-time data integration, data visualization, and data analytics.
  6. Deep understanding of data security and compliance.
  7. Solid knowledge of data management technologies including RDBMS, NoSQL, and Hadoop ecosystem.
  8. Experience with data integration coding and tools (Informatica, InfoSphere, Talend, etc.).
  9. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI, Jasper, Pentaho, etc.).
  10. Solid experience in marketing campaign systems and digital marketing techniques.
