Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Pinpoint Asia. As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing data management frameworks, leading the definition of enterprise data models, and working with senior leaders to define technology strategies and solutions.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement data management frameworks to create a data-driven environment for the organization.
- Lead the definition of enterprise data models, policies, and standards that support the firm's vision and objectives.
- Work with senior leaders to define technology strategies, solutions, and architecture in data.
- Establish and maintain core data models, information standards, and data management lifecycle controls.
- Provide end-to-end data design and management for data acquisition and processing, data quality, and governance for the Enterprise Data platform.
- Develop and improve data governance standards, including records management, data quality, metadata, modeling, and data provisioning.
- Collaborate with application teams to create technology platforms across data management and governance, integration, and data lake/data visualization/data analytics solutions.
- At least 8 years of experience in IT data management and data architecture.
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale data infrastructure with hundreds of TB scale.
- Experience in implementing data solutions on hybrid-cloud platforms is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in data warehouses and relational databases.
- Knowledge and experience in data lake frameworks, including Apache Spark, Iceberg, and Hive.
- Programming skills in Scala and/or Python.
- Familiarity with the latest technology in big data, AI, machine learning, and API.
- Strategic thinking and communication skills to coach and lead all levels of people.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable university.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
