Job Description

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Senior Facilities Management Coordinator. This is a fixed-term contract position of 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.

This role reports to the Manager, Contract Administration and supports the District Facility Services (DFS) Department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the supervisor on all DFS sub-teams annual budget planning, day-to-day operation financial matters, and procurement documentation and process;
  • Providing service support in venues operation from a financial and facilities asset management planning perspective;
  • Handling financial management for budgeting and cost control, discussing with on-site teams and relevant departments for any financial matters;
  • Preparing regular reports, such as financial monthly reports and financial variance highlights, and highlighting variances;
  • Maintaining a filing system, including records in/out of all budget and contracts documentation and asset management;
  • Assisting the supervisor in setting up SOPs, policies, IT systems (Facility Management System), and operation manuals;
  • Performing other duties or ad-hoc tasks assigned by the DFS Department.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised degree or above in property and/or facilities management, business administration, accounting, finance, or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of experience in property and/or facilities management, with experience in managing and preparing OPEX and CAPEX budgets for routine operations;
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to relate and communicate with internal and external contacts at all levels;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Estimated Salary: HKD 45,000 - 60,000 per month.
