Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the operation of the Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Global Development and Sustainability (GDS) and other undergraduate interdisciplinary programmes
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to programme-level committees
  • Develop and implement strategies for promotion and publicity for GDS and other interdisciplinary programmes
  • Organise and participate in outreaching activities for GDS and other interdisciplinary programmes
  • Manage GDS website and social media communications; develop online and printed promotional and informational materials
  • Coordinate GDS enrichment activities, internship and mentorship programmes
  • Develop alumni network and student activities for GDS and other interdisciplinary programmes
  • Organise and support publicity and promotional activities and events of the School of Interdisciplinary Studies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking, and interpersonal, communication, presentation, coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of both English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • A high level of competence in computer literacy, knowledge of design and website maintenance tools would be an advantage
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and with a strong sense of responsibility

Salary and Benefits

The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
