As the Compliance Manager for Asia, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies across the region. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the formulation of the annual compliance strategy for Asia, with a focus on Data Privacy, AI Compliance, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) initiatives.Facilitating the implementation of Group Data Privacy & AI Compliance Policies within AXA's Asian entities, while fostering collaboration and sharing of best practices among Data Privacy Officers (DPOs) across the region.Providing expert guidance on projects and assessments related to Data Privacy and AI Compliance, including risk assessments tailored to AI systems and the development of control templates for third-party agreements.Updating and maintaining compliance policies and procedures to establish a robust monitoring framework that ensures the operational effectiveness of Data Privacy and AI Compliance.Reviewing compliance reports and assessments from various entities, offering constructive feedback to local compliance teams, and coordinating submissions to Group Compliance, which includes conducting Compliance Risk Assessments and Gap Analyses.Conducting timely follow-ups on actions identified during compliance reviews, ensuring that updates are accurately reflected in the Group Compliance system.Assisting in the creation of training materials and communication resources, such as presentations and newsletters, to enhance awareness of Data Privacy, AI Compliance, and ABC topics.Supporting Asia entities in managing the pre-approval process for Gifts & Entertainment, while maintaining accurate records in the relevant registers.Coordinating responses for AXA Group reporting and addressing ad hoc requests as necessary.Participating in regulatory projects on an ad-hoc basis, providing compliance-related advisory support.Your Qualifications
A university degree in a relevant field, such as Law, Commerce, or Business.A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in data privacy or a related field, with a solid understanding of insurance products and compliance processes.Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, ability to work independently, and a collaborative spirit.Proficiency in both spoken and written English; knowledge of additional Asian languages, particularly Cantonese and/or Mandarin, is advantageous.About AXA
