We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Third Party Governance and Operational Resilience Lead, Asia to join our team in Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating third-party risk management in line with new policy being drafted to comply with OSFI B10 for Asia franchise across all business units.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional regional teams to ensure compliance to third-party policy and create Asia procedures outlining the development of third-party lifecycle assessment risk management programs.
- Supervise and guide the inventory completion and risk assessment of all third-party relationships.
- Guide teams on best practices and provide governance on third-party inventory and ensure completeness.
- Train and coach appointed team members on third-party assessment.
- Set governance and MIS processes for KPIs and work in partnership with Segment and Global Stakeholders to develop formal procedures.
- Manage inventory and provide regular status updates on overall Asia Segment third-party program status to Asia risk and global committees.
- Interface with internal audit teams and regulatory representatives to provide program adherence, emerging risks, roadmap, and efficiency initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 10+ years' experience working in corporate with Operations or risk management with knowledge of financial institutions.
- Knowledge of applicable Financial Services Industry legislation, policies, and best practices regarding usage and management of third parties.
- Ability to work in a global business setting and analyze and organize large volumes of data.
- Exceptional written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management with communication and partnership in regional, local business levels, and external parties.
- Leadership required to influence and lead teams to achieve deadlines and overcome unforeseen challenges.
