Corporate Business Development Manager

Bloomberg's Corporations business is focused on developing strategies and solutions to enhance our opportunity from all audiences at Corporations, ranging from Corporate Treasury to C-suite to Product Strategy groups and everything in-between. Our Sales Account Managers will use their product and industry skills and relationships to research and understand our clients' workflows and identify where opportunities exist for Bloomberg to help them with existing or future solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop deep and trusted relationships with clients, understanding their workflow and technology, successfully managing relationships with C-Suite and drive enterprise revenue strategies. Your experienced consultative approach should uncover opportunities and expand our partnerships while at the same time increasing our clients' overall operating efficiency. You will be up-to-date with the latest trends and business initiatives within our client base. Your sales skills, dedication and motivation will allow us to maximize short and long-term sales opportunities and mitigate risks to our existing revenue.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a candidate with 3 or more years of client facing experience in financial technology or solutions focused technology sales or support roles. You will need consultative sales skills, including competitive market research, lead generation, prospecting, business development, and closing skills. Experience or knowledge of the workflows and technology and/or data requirements of a corporation and key profiles within an organisation is also required. A natural curiosity for our clients and an appreciation of the evolving needs of industrial corporations (Automotive, Energy, Mining and Metals, Pharmaceutical, Technology) is essential. Proven ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently is also necessary. Ability to spot and act upon industry trends to create and close sales opportunities is also required. Prior working experience within the Korean market, selling to or supporting Korea based clients is preferred. Experience in building and maintaining senior client and internal stakeholder relationships is also required. Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation is also necessary. Exemplary presentation and communication skills in English and Korean is also required. An ability and energy to travel frequently is also essential.
