Purpose

  • Develop and manage MS O365 and Messaging Infrastructure, Azure Virtual Desktop, Corporate Directory Services, and support FWD Group's IT platform and shared services.
  • Build a deep understanding of key business areas to plan, develop, and implement infrastructure solutions that meet corporate and service-specific objectives and strategic priorities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage, design, and architect Microsoft O365, Corporate Directory Services, Azure Virtual Desktop, and integrate 3rd-party technology solutions.
  • Support cloud adoption with the cloud operation and delivery team, aligning with the Technology Strategy.
  • Support IT Infrastructure/System setup and migration for new FWD business entities.
  • Liaise with IT application, application architect, and security teams on technical development of converged solutions and processes to enhance operations.
  • Lead the Engineering team for management and support of FWD Group's IT Common Services Platform and services availability, capacity, and 7x24 hours support.
  • Lead technical engineers to negotiate with vendors, auditors, and consultants.
  • Ensure managed IT infrastructure meet compliance and security requirements.
  • Develop continual service improvement plans to reduce system downtime incidents, support calls, and commonly reported problems.
  • Assist in vendor, contract, and license management.
  • Assist in conducting DR drills and BCP processes.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree holder in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with over 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Holder of professional qualifications preferred, e.g., Microsoft O365, Azure, and VMware.
  • Solid experience in MS O365, Active Directory Services, Azure Virtual Desktop, MS Exchange Online, Intune MDM, SCCM, Cloud infrastructure (Azure & AWS), Backup & Disaster Recovery Solution.
  • Project management skills preferred.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Strong problem-solving, management, and analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of O365, Messaging, Server, Network, Storage, and Cloud Infrastructure (Azure & AWS), Virtualization, DR Management, and IT Security.
  • Strong knowledge in Mobile & Hybrid Infrastructure Architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of IT operations in an insurance company.
  • Good command of written English and Chinese; fluent in spoken English.
  • Willingness to learn new IT technology.
