Job Title: Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to join our team at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of on-premise and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for our enterprise infrastructure, incorporating both on-premise and cloud solutions.
  • Oversee the organization's disaster recovery plan, ensuring data center resilience and the availability of disaster recovery sites.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure by implementing and maintaining security measures, conducting regular audits, managing access controls, and addressing vulnerabilities or incidents.
  • Collaborate closely with technology vendors and service providers to evaluate, select, and oversee hardware, software, and cloud services.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs or tenders to potential vendors or solution providers.

Requirements:

  • Recognized university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of IT, with at least 8 years in a project manager and/or infrastructure lead role, preferably in a sizable organization.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading Server Virtualization and storage system implementation.
  • Technical certifications such as VMware Certified Advanced Professional, Azure Administrator Associate certification, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are preferred.
  • ITIL certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain large-scale server and storage platforms, including capacity planning for the organization.
  • Possess the skills to cultivate and disseminate knowledge of system management best practices.
  • Be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
