About This Role

The Global IT Operations Manager plays a crucial role in driving business growth and success, overseeing global operations and implementing architectures and procedures to ensure services delivery.

This role ensures that underlying infrastructure adheres to capacity and availability management, enabling efficient service delivery and reducing downtime, while also ensuring adherence to IT security standards and data protection policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert knowledge and advice across SID Services, ensuring seamless service delivery and meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • Track performance against key measures and update stakeholders regularly, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Align regional IT infrastructure with global standards and business objectives, ensuring consistency and efficiency, while also collaborating with other IT teams for incident management, root cause analysis, and long-term solutions.
  • Oversee cloud, IT systems, networks, and infrastructure maintenance and upgrades, ensuring optimal performance and reducing downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security standards and data protection policies, safeguarding sensitive information and protecting against potential threats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency, as well as technical proficiency in relevant IT infrastructure and service desk tools.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent command of English, as well as ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, with experience in IT operation management and senior systems engineering, as well as understanding of customer service principles and practices.
