Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead our System Modernization project. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and management skills to guarantee timely and budget-friendly delivery of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure all workstreams produce high-quality outcomes.
  • Craft and present regular reports to stakeholders, overseeing updates during workgroup meetings to maintain transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on infrastructure and application designs to confirm they meet specific business needs, including timely processing.
  • Oversee different phases of projects, allocating resources for FDS, SIT, UAT, data migration, and deployment tasks according to the project timeline.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for each project deliverable to ensure compliance and alignment with expectations.
  • Offer expert guidance on technical solutions, such as cloud migration, when relevant.
  • Conduct independent assessments of user needs and technological requirements, considering their effects on the project plan.
  • Identify potential project risks, such as budget excesses and schedule delays, and notify the team while proposing actionable solutions.
  • Optimize project workflows to improve implementation effectiveness.
  • Foster knowledge sharing within the team to promote best practices and continuous enhancement.
Requirements
  • Holds a university degree in business or a related technical field.
  • Possesses over 15 years of experience in IT, specializing in the leadership and management of large-scale financial systems, with a solid background in both infrastructure and application domains.
  • Knowledge of Employee Benefits and/or Pension sectors is advantageous.
  • Demonstrates proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, leveraging a deep understanding of business objectives and key outcomes.
  • Capable of innovative thinking and finding effective solutions, employing a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal Chinese and English (Proficiency in Putonghua is an asset).
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits

Our company offers competitive compensation and benefits, along with a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. The estimated salary for this position is around $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
