Job Title: Head of WPB Business Risk Management

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Head of WPB Business Risk Management. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across the Wealth & Personal Banking business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain WPB business risk management governance, framework, policies, and processes
  • Provide oversight on business units' risk management practices
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators, risk events, and risk exposures for the WPB business
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure business units comply with regulations and internal policies
  • Drive a strong risk culture across the WPB business
  • Collaborate with other risk management functions to ensure a holistic view of risk
  • Lead a team of risk management professionals and ensure they have the necessary skills and capabilities

Requirements:

  • University graduate with a minimum of 8 years of retail banking experience, with at least 5 years in risk management
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and regulatory requirements
  • Leadership experience in managing and developing teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written communication, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Good interpersonal, influencing, and problem-solving skills and the ability to drive a diverse group including internal and external partners
  • Project management skill with a track record in managing multiple priorities
  • Committed, self-motivated, and action-oriented personality with strong ownership
