About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Leader to join our Business Development team as a Director of Sales and Growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth and revenue across local and large markets, developing a robust sales and prospecting pipeline, and leading and managing responses to tenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a defined sales strategy
  • Develop a robust sales and prospecting pipeline focusing on local and large market
  • Ownership and full responsibility for converting those identified prospects into clients and managing an appropriate handover to the Account Management Teams
  • Drive cross-selling and up-selling activities, including where appropriate the introduction of Aon United colleagues/services
  • Follow the Aon sales process protocols, including clearly defined sales strategy and activity, accurate pipeline reporting updates through Aon Connect
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university graduate with minimum 10 years' working experience in Employee Benefits in broker firm(s) or insurance company(ies) preferred
  • Holder of FLMI or passed in IIQE Paper I, II, III & IV are preferred
  • Mature and a self-starter
  • Good organization skills and effective interpersonal skills
  • Good analytics and negotiation skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage
  • Good command of computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
