Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee our accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and internal controls, as well as excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes;
  • Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements to ensure their accuracy and completeness;
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing the accounting staff, promoting continuous improvement;
  • Collaborating with external auditors to facilitate the audit process;
  • Ensuring strict compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • Understanding of US GAAP and experience with international subsidiaries of US corporations preferred;
  • Proficiency in project-based accounting and familiarity with IPO processes;
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred;
  • 4-8 years of experience managing a full set of accounts;
  • Proficient in accounting software, such as Peachtree, and payroll systems;
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and detail;
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills;
  • High integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented approach.
