Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our Operations Governance and Controls team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving offshore governance and controls, coordinating incident reports, and delivering timely management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offshore Governance and Controls: Assist in driving offshore governance and controls to ensure quality assurance and compliance.
  • Incident Reporting: Coordinate incident reports across Operations to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Management Reporting: Deliver timely management reporting to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the Admin Service & Quality team to ensure sufficient support on Admin Services and promote teamwork and collaboration with business units.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee offshore daily operations to ensure smooth and effective operational service supports to internal and external customers.
  • Training and Development: Provide timely coaching, guidance, and training to the team to ensure smooth operation and improvement.
  • Service Level Agreement: Monitor accuracy and turnaround time on defined service level agreement for regular reporting.
  • SOP Management: Assist in SOP management, compiling and updating manuals and workflow documents as needed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • General Insurance: General Insurance with sound knowledge of general insurance products is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively, mature, independent, self-motivated, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, conscientious, strong sense of accuracy and quality delivery, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Language: Proficient in written and spoken English & Cantonese.
  • Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
