Business Development Executive

Gelato is an innovative Ethereum Rollup as a Service Platform that empowers businesses to build and deploy their fully serviced Layer 2 chains on various networks, including Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Celestia. Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of web3 technology, creating a more transparent and democratic digital life for humanity.
What You'll AccomplishAs a key member of our team, you will:
- Drive Business Growth: Scan the web3 market for new partners, conduct end-to-end business development processes, and qualify existing opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Top Projects: Work closely with leading DeFi projects in web3, leveraging your expertise to unlock new business opportunities and drive growth.
- Research and Innovation: Conduct research on new ways to utilize Gelato products for existing partners, identifying innovative solutions to drive business expansion.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our business development and marketing teams to develop new strategies for driving growth and expanding our customer base.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Web3 Experience: At least 2 years of experience within web3, with a strong understanding of web3 technologies and protocols.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Mandarin, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Selling Experience: Proven experience in technical selling, preferably with web3 backend solutions.
- Web3 Native: Experience using DeFi protocols daily/weekly, with a strong understanding of web3 infrastructure.
- CRM Experience: Experience using CRMs, preferably Hubspot, to manage partners and drive business growth.
- Track Record: A track record of managing partners, closing deals, and overachieving revenue goals.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with ambitious targets.
- Strong Time Management: Well-organized with strong time management skills and a proactive personality.
