As a Senior Merchant Acquiring Business Development Manager at Fubon Bank, you will have the opportunity to work with our team to develop and implement strategies to acquire new merchants and grow our existing business. This is an exciting role for someone who is passionate about sales, business development, and customer service.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Merchant Acquiring Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving assigned key performance indicators (KPIs) on new merchants, fee income, sales volume, MRF loan, and other business targets.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve the assigned KPIs on new merchants, fee income, sales volume, MRF loan, and other business targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and negotiating deals that meet the needs of both parties.
- Recruit new merchant accounts and maintain existing merchant base by providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish and develop long-term business relationships with merchants by understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and consistently delivering high-quality service.
- Actively cross-sell Bank products and identify business opportunities by analyzing client data, staying up-to-date on industry trends, and leveraging your knowledge of our product offerings to create value for our customers.
- Conduct various sales activities effectively according to program schedules by prioritizing tasks, managing time, and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and productivity.
Requirements:
- University graduate or above with a degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or marketing.
- At least 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of relevant policies and procedures of the Bank as well as regulatory requirements.
- Self-motivated, aggressive, and with strong business sense, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to present to senior-level stakeholders and negotiate contracts.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in both languages.
- PC knowledge, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
