Job Overview

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Manager, Commercial IT to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering all aspects of solutions projects from inception to post-implementation phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management:
    • Manage the global portfolio for Commercial IT Solutions, developing plans, tools, processes, and structure for day-to-day setup and monthly prioritization.
    • Manage the Global Solutions Portfolio budget and finances for Commercial IT, governing the process and responsible for overall portfolio reporting.
  • Project Governance & Competency Development:
    • Work with the IT Director to formulate and develop competency frameworks and implementation of internal development across Project Managers and Solution Managers.
    • Establish best practices for Solution Projects and refine/develop processes required to ensure smooth operational efficiencies.
    • Manage external IT vendors, including leading, facilitating, and working with relevant stakeholders for RFPs, solution design, and contractual negotiations.
    • Work with Regional IT teams to manage and provide support where required.
    • Establish and facilitate knowledge exchanges between project managers and facilitate internal development of skillsets.
    • Manage, coach, and develop people across projects and forums where applicable.
  • Project Management/Delivery:
    • Liaise with business and IT stakeholders globally to ensure requirements are captured, identified, and included in the targeted solution.
    • Lead and manage global, Asia, and Americas IT Solution projects from inception, development, deployment through to service and transition within budget and to completion.
    • Manage operational business and technical teams deploying new services, capacity planning, risk/contingency planning, and site architecture.
    • Manage and lead change with project implementation, including designing, developing, coordinating, and delivering IT Solutions training to business stakeholders.
    • Manage and track project budgets and provide reporting to relevant stakeholders across the organization, ensuring projects stay within project budgets.
  • Additional Tasks:
    • Support Senior IT Management on any ad hoc tasks and projects where required.
    • Lead and oversee regional problem resolution and engage relevant resources/stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
    • Provide advisory services to other central-based towers for deployed and/or deployment of solutions, and a regional liaison where required.
Requirements
  • Solid experience and proven track record in the IT field.
  • Proven extensive business partnering experience with strong relationship management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, passionate, innovative, self-driven, and able to present solutions to diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logical and creativity.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills.
  • Experiences in driving technical innovation.
