Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Technology Planning Leader to join our team at DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited. As a key member of our Technology and Operations department, you will play a crucial role in leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology initiatives.

Our Technology and Operations department manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and strives to delight our business partners through multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities
  • Lead PMO and financial management teams for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined deliverables on technology initiatives, operational financials & resource investment.
  • Drive effective and transparent technology build and operate cost management initiatives.
  • Track and monitor budget, and resource utilization with good levels of control, support variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Perform portfolio governance and drive PMO best practices. Develop materials & metrics to support various governance meetings.
  • Work closely with regional and country stakeholders (technology, business & finance) for unit financial portfolio management. Communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, and ensure compliance to standards.
  • Support resource planning, ensure delivery and execution meet business expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
Requirements
  • University graduate in business, finance, IT or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in project and financial management, preferably with at least 5 years on people management.
  • Preference with recognized professional qualification in IT management or accounting.
  • Solid knowledge in retail banking business, products, and operations preferred.
  • Independent and strong team player.
  • Strong analytical mind for problem-solving.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Possess growth mindset and proactively identify and bring up change opportunities, accept challenges, and be able to work under pressure.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proficient skills in Qliksense, Qlikview, MS Excel pivot table, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
