Position Overview

At GroupM, we are seeking a Senior Media Associate to join our dynamic team at L'Atelier. As a leading agency within the GroupM network, we play a pivotal role in shaping the global media landscape. This position involves managing daily campaign operations, overseeing comprehensive media planning, and executing strategies effectively.

Reporting Structure

This role will report directly to the Supervisor.

Key Highlights of the Role:

  • Hybrid Role: This position combines both online and offline responsibilities, including social media engagement.

Success Metrics:

In the First Three Months:

  • Gain familiarity with all relevant media and financial systems, as well as team processes.
  • Provide support to the team while enhancing your understanding of the media landscape.
  • Begin to establish relationships with key decision-makers within client and agency organizations.

In Six Months:

  • Develop an understanding of the Original Thinking Framework and its application within team processes.
  • Acquire practical experience with Mindshare media tools.
  • Master client reporting and media tracking.

In Twelve Months:

  • Demonstrate confidence and accuracy in updating media schedules.
  • Understand the construction of effective media campaigns.
  • Become the primary contact for clients regarding day-to-day activities, capable of proposing solutions to identified challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute digital planning independently, collaborating with media vendors and clients.
  • Manage SEM and paid social advertising, utilizing knowledge of advertising platforms.
  • Oversee trafficking processes on DoubleClick.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of campaign tracking and reporting, executing tasks with precision.
  • Conduct data analysis for e-commerce clients.
  • Collaborate with the social content team to generate engaging content and ideas.
  • Monitor achievement of planned objectives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all agreed reports to clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • A strong willingness to learn, adapt, and excel.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in digital media planning; 3 years is preferred for senior associate consideration.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a solid technical understanding.
  • Highly organized and efficient in managing multiple tasks.
  • Confident and proactive in facing challenges.
