About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Media Planning Associate to join our team at GroupM. As a Media Planning Associate, you will play a key role in delivering planning recommendations and ensuring smooth account coordination internally and externally with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to overall media strategy development, including understanding and interpreting briefs and applying insights to develop marketing and communications solutions.
  • Understand the client's market position to achieve optimal negotiation for clients.
  • Ensure regular reporting is delivered on time and accurately.
  • Ensure that campaigns are tracked and measured based on agreed KPIs and media efficiencies.
  • Develop and build relationships with clients, acting as the first point of contact on account requirements.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key agency and media partners, including acting as the first point of contact for operational issues.
  • Keep current on media trends, identify and implement local media initiatives.
Requirements
  • Degree in any discipline, with a major in Marketing, Information Management, Business, or Mathematics being an advantage.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Good at numbers and have attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently but also a good team player.
  • Possess a passion for pursuing a career in media or digital industry.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • With 1-2 years' experience working in a media agency.
