Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Officer, Building Services to join our team at HKT. As a key member of our building services team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of large building equipment systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of large building equipment systems.
  • Lead and manage the daily maintenance, engineering, and emergency repair work schedules, quality, and safety of technical staff and contractors.
  • Provide technical advice to internal and external customers, establish contracts, and enhance the team's technical expertise in this area.
  • Assist in controlling budgets and preparing quotations and related reports.
  • Execute checks and report system problems.
  • Assist the supervisor in handling all matters related to building equipment systems.
  • Follow the roster to handle 24-hour emergency repair services.

Requirements

  • Hold a relevant building equipment high-level certificate or education.
  • Have 5 years or more of experience in building equipment system maintenance and repair.
  • Be familiar with relevant regulations and codes of conduct.
  • Have good technical knowledge of electrical systems, particularly backup generators, UPS, and chilled water systems.
  • Be able to write Chinese maintenance reports and read simple English work orders.
  • Hold a valid Construction Industry Safety Passport.
  • Hold a Level A or above electrical license issued by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, which will be given priority consideration.
  • Hold a Hong Kong driving license category (1) and (2), which will be given priority consideration.
  • Less experienced candidates will be considered for the position of Technical Officer.
