Job Summary:
We're seeking a high-calibre professional to join our Trading Operations Team as a Capital Markets Development Specialist. This role will involve managing the daily operations of our trading platforms in the Hong Kong cash market, covering equity securities, funds, structured products, and debt securities. You'll also assist in delivering HKEX's strategically important initiatives related to the cash market and Stock Connect programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the team's daily operation to ensure market and platforms stability
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of project initiatives affecting cash trading
- Assist in the innovation and transformation of the team's workflows by managing the development and implementation of automation solutions using various tools and technologies
Requirements:
- University Degree holder preferably in Finance/Statistics/Information Technology or related disciplines
- 6+ years' relevant experience in finance/equity trading business
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong and Mainland stock market practices
- High agility with growth mindset; a self-starter, team player, and good communicator with sound judgment and good problem-solving skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
