Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Center Operations Manager to lead our team based in Hong Kong. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and efficient IT data center operation, managing 24/7 operations processes covering multiple data centers in Hong Kong, and ensuring data center staff are well trained in disaster recovery procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in the data center operations department.
  • Maintain a secure and efficient IT data center operation, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Manage 24/7 operations processes covering multiple data centers in Hong Kong, including monitoring and responding to incidents.
  • Ensure data center staff are well trained in IT/Data Center Facility disaster recovery procedures, and that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance to data center staff in day-to-day operations, and ensure that they have access to the necessary tools and resources.
  • Manage the performance of the data center operations team, including setting goals and objectives, and evaluating performance.
  • Manage data center infrastructure: Power, Cooling & Facilities Management, and ensure that it is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Manage Data Center hardware and OS maintenance, and ensure that all equipment is up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Ensure operational KPIs and metrics are being measured and attained, and that continuous improvement initiatives are implemented.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of experience in data center operations, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in multi-data center operations, with a strong understanding of data center design and architecture.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to plan and execute projects from start to finish.
  • Incident management experience, with the ability to respond to and resolve incidents quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to organize information concisely and accurately, and to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently with different levels of management, and to build strong relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, and fluency in English language.

The estimated salary for this position is HKD 120,000 - 180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
