Job Title: AVP, People Development

China CITIC Bank International Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AVP, People Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a learning culture within the organization, providing effective learning solutions and opportunities, and designing and facilitating in-house training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster Organizational Learning Culture: Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of learning and development within the organization.
  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Create and deliver in-house training programs that meet the needs of the business and employees.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with business units to understand learning needs and gaps, and develop training plans to address these needs.
  • Training and Development Strategies: Formulate and implement training and development strategies to enhance staff quality and professionalism.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Conduct training needs analysis to identify gaps in employee skills and knowledge, and develop training plans to address these gaps.
  • External Training and Tuition Reimbursement: Screen and approve/reject external training and tuition reimbursement applications to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with the Tuition Aid Policy.
  • Development Curriculum: Design, implement, and review the Development Curriculum to identify and develop improvement plans and career development plans for key work groups.
  • Continuous Professional Training: Plan, arrange, and monitor continuous professional training programs for all registered licensed staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Legislative Requirements: Partner with control functions to deploy learning programs to meet legislative requirements.
  • External Vendors: Identify and recommend external vendors for specialized learning programs.
  • Training Records and Statistics: Ensure timely and accurate production of training records and statistics to facilitate the preparation of employees' training plans.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in training coordination/administration, preferably in the banking industry/financial institution.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge and experience in planning training activities in the banking industry.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Sound understanding of regulatory requirements for training relating to job competencies, compliance, risk, or IT security.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Language Skills: Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
