About the Role

Mizuho Bank, Ltd. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Deposit and Remittance Section as a Director/Vice President. As a key member of our Hong Kong Administration Department, you will oversee all aspects of cash management daily operations, including payments processing, reconciliation, and investigation to ensure optimal and efficient payment operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee strategic projects and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and successful project outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to maximize individual and team performance, foster a culture of collaboration, and promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor strategic plans and initiatives in alignment with organizational goals and objectives, driving innovation, efficiency, and growth while mitigating risks and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Drive continuous operation optimization and improvement initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights, industry best practices, and stakeholder feedback to enhance processes, streamline workflows, and achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
  • University degree holder
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in cash management, payment operation, and project management within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Good team player with sound communication skill.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
