Business Development Director

PSA BDP International serves over 5 customers, including leading multinational companies in the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.
Responsibilities:- Identify new sales opportunities to achieve the stipulated sales target set by PSA BDP International.
- Proactively generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, conferences, networking events, and referrals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in PSA BDP International, including operations and customer service, to ensure the successful execution of contracts and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing/new BCOs to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction to secure repeat business.
- Develop a deep understanding of the logistics solutions and services provided by DP World.
- Work with BCOs to design tailored logistics solutions that align with their specific requirements and business objectives.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with BCOs to secure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Stay informed about logistics industry trends, competitive services, and market conditions.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements, especially when dealing with international logistics and transportation.
- Responsible for achieving the stipulated sales target set by PSA BDP International.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 10 years' experience within the freight forwarding industry.
- Knowledge in Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Contract Logistics, and Value Add Solutions in Logistics Company.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
- Proficient in CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
- Strong proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
