We are a global leader in risk, retirement, and health solutions, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Associate Director, Business Development.

About the Role

As an Associate Director, Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing a defined sales strategy, building a robust sales pipeline, and converting identified prospects into clients. You will also lead and manage responses to tenders, develop quality presentations, and drive cross-selling and up-selling activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a defined sales strategy to drive business growth
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, focusing on local and large markets
  • Convert identified prospects into clients and manage handovers to Account Management Teams
  • Develop cross-sell opportunities by demonstrating risk and people expertise
  • Lead and manage responses to tenders and develop quality presentations
  • Drive cross-selling and up-selling activities, including introducing Aon United colleagues/services
  • Follow Aon sales process protocols, including accurate pipeline reporting updates

Requirements

  • University graduate with minimum 10 years' working experience in Employee Benefits
  • Holder of FLMI or passed in IIQE Paper I, II, III & IV
  • Mature and self-starter with good organization and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytics and negotiations skills, with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good command of computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
