As the Regional Compliance Lead for Asia, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to compliance standards across our operations in the region. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the formulation of the annual compliance strategy tailored for Asia, with a focus on Data Privacy, AI Compliance, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) initiatives.Championing the implementation of Group Data Privacy & AI Compliance Policies across AXA entities in Asia, while facilitating collaboration and sharing of best practices among Data Privacy Officers (DPOs).Providing expert guidance on projects and assessments related to Data Privacy and AI Compliance, including risk assessments that address the unique aspects of AI systems and the development of control templates for third-party agreements.Updating and refining Asia Compliance policies and procedures to establish a robust compliance monitoring framework, ensuring the operational effectiveness of Data Privacy and AI Compliance initiatives.Reviewing compliance reports and assessments from various entities, offering constructive feedback to local compliance teams, and coordinating submissions to Group Compliance, including Compliance Risk Assessments and Gap Analyses.Conducting timely follow-ups on actions identified during compliance reviews related to Data Privacy, AI Compliance, and ABC, ensuring that action statuses are updated in the Group Compliance system.Assisting in the creation of training materials and communication resources, such as presentations, newsletters, and forums, focused on Data Privacy, AI Compliance, and ABC topics.Supporting Asia entities in managing the pre-approval process for Gifts & Entertainment, maintaining accurate records in the relevant register.Coordinating responses for AXA Group reporting and ad hoc requests as necessary.Participating in regulatory projects on an ad-hoc basis, providing compliance-related advisory support.Your Qualifications
A university degree in a relevant field, preferably in Law, Commerce, or Business.A minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in data privacy or a related field, with a solid understanding of insurance products, compliance processes, and regulatory frameworks.Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential; knowledge of additional Asian languages, particularly Cantonese and/or Mandarin, is advantageous.About AXA
