Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager Assistant will be responsible for fostering positive employee-employer relationships and handling employee-related issues and concerns. This role acts as a strategic partner to the business to promote a productive, respectful and desirable work environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and disciplinary issues, promoting open communication to ensure the Company policies and procedures are fairly and properly applied.
  • Provide support to people managers on effective employee relations practices, including performance management, effective communication and conflict management.
  • Ensure clear lines of communication to facilitate line manager's accurate understanding of and compliance with HR and the Corporate policies, local and government regulations pertaining to employment practices.
  • Partner with the Business Partner team on initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive and productive work culture.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics and provide insight reports to the leadership team for sound decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with the Hong Kong Labour Ordinance and related laws and regulations.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant HR experience gained in multi-national organizations including 1 year in supervisory capacity with proven experience in operation business model.
  • Well-versed in HK employment related ordinances and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, concise communication skills to collaborate with people across different functions and levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Cantonese.
