Lenovo is seeking a seasoned Senior Social Media Specialist to join our Solutions and Services Group (SSG). This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional digital communications skills to elevate our brand awareness, executive profiles, and thought leadership globally.
Digital Communications Strategy DevelopmentThis individual will develop and execute a comprehensive global social media strategy that drives engagement, conversion, and brand loyalty. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, analytics, and creative storytelling to captivate B2B audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing a global social media strategy across platforms to boost brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Managing the online presence of key SSG C-suite executives, ensuring their voices contribute to thought leadership.
- Creating content calendars, campaign plans, and editorial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Monitoring and analyzing social media performance metrics to refine strategies and maximize ROI.
Content Development & Curation:
- Producing high-quality, platform-specific content tailored for B2B audiences.
- Ensuring brand consistency and accurate messaging across all social media platforms.
- Staying current with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to bring innovative ideas into content plans.
Community Engagement & Management:
- Overseeing real-time engagement and interactions with audiences, responding promptly and professionally.
- Identifying opportunities to build and engage with online communities, industry forums, and social listening to amplify SSG's brand and voice.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Using analytics tools to track and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Developing reports to highlight achievements, trends, and areas for optimization.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align social media activities with broader communication and business strategies.
- Supporting key product launches, events, and campaigns with coordinated social media efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of social media management experience, preferably in a B2B/enterprise tech environment.
- Proven expertise in creating and managing content across social platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics, analytics tools, and performance optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in design tools and video editing software.
- Highly proficient in English.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with a talent for crafting concise, engaging social media copy.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment.
