Global Relationship Manager

This is a seasoned professional role that applies in-depth knowledge of banking and investments to contribute to the development of new techniques and improve processes. The Mid-Corp Relationship Manager integrates subject matter expertise within a defined area, requiring an understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function.
Responsibilities:- Deepen client relationships by proactively owning, responding to, uncovering, and anticipating future needs, roadblocks, or risks and expectations;
- Serve as the primary contact point for clients, responsible for managing internal departments to address customer service issues;
- Introduce solutions to clients in building and strengthening effective portfolios;
- Collaborate with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet individual client needs;
- Work closely with Case Managers on client onboarding and retention, ensuring compliance deliverables are met;
- Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet;
- Drive innovation in client solutions and develop business strategies where necessary;
- Support Senior Relationship Managers in structuring deals that balance risk and reward;
- Maximize client experience by sharing market updates, trends, and intelligence;
- Assist in researching and identifying prospective clients;
- Network with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities;
- Prepare and oversee new transaction submissions and annual reviews for submission to the in-business credit lending management and independent risk department;
- Actively protect Citi's assets and reputation by being the first line of defense from credit risk management perspective;
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies and guidelines at all times.
- 5-8 years of experience in banking and investments;
- Demonstrated knowledge of banking and investment products and processes, with a track record of providing sound advice and solutions to clients;
- Core credit skills and intermediate level Early Warning Detection skills;
- Ability to close deals, manage the credit origination process, gather and maintain credit documentation, and monitor accounts;
- Advanced understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and statement analysis;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills;
- A self-starter with a positive approach, embracing change and bold initiatives;
- High energy, enthusiasm, and motivation, with a focus on creating new business opportunities and delivering innovative solutions;
- Ability to adapt priorities based on the latest data insights and drive business growth.
Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per year (dependent on experience)
