Job Title: Digital Product Owner

At Pinpoint Asia, we are seeking a highly skilled Digital Product Owner to join our team. As a Digital Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading the development of digital solutions that maximize the client experience and sales journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Digital Solutions: Collaborate with business partners to design and develop digital solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Set Product Vision and Strategy: Establish a clear product vision and strategy through a deep understanding of the problem statement or opportunity the digital product will address.
  • Define Product Scope and Requirements: Define and establish product scope and business requirements with stakeholders, drive business analysis, and user story definition.
  • Manage Project Business Analysis: Oversee end-to-end project business analysis, including feasibility study, requirement analysis, UAT, and implementation support.
  • Provide Technology and Digital Solutions Design: Offer high-level technology and digital solutions design with concepts, features, and workflow.
  • Produce Product Proposals and Prototypes: Develop product proposals and early-stage prototypes to obtain senior management approval and buy-in.
  • Lead Project Management: Lead the project with end-to-end management from initiation to final implementation, manage a matrixed project team, and secure project resources.
  • Build Relationships with Senior Leaders: Establish strong relationships with senior business leaders and decision-makers, formulate projects that align with business objectives.
  • Provide Direction and Support: Offer direction, consultancy, and support to business and project teams.
  • Manage Project Resources and Conflicts: Manage projects on schedule, budget, scope, quality, risks, issues, team, resource management, and reconcile conflicts on resources and expectations between stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: University graduate with a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Proven experience in technology product management, ideally with insurance product experience.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Exposure to insurance-related business is a plus.
  • Data Mining Knowledge: Strong data mining knowledge and mindset are a plus.
  • Consultancy Experience: Previous consultancy experience in producing business proposals, pitching ideas, and buying in.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with different senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic Vision: Strong strategic vision and innovative mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese) communications is essential.
