Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Producer, Global Digital Video Strategist to join our team. This is a key role that will lead the development and execution of our global digital video strategy, working closely with our programming team to create engaging content for our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global digital video strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with our programming team to create engaging content for our digital platforms, including video, social media, and other digital channels.
  • Lead the development of long-term strategies and relationships with key stakeholders, including our global news desks and correspondents.
  • Work with our data and analytics team to analyze performance data and make data-driven decisions to inform our content strategy.
  • Manage a team of producers and writers to ensure the delivery of high-quality content that meets our editorial standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure the success of our digital video strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital video production and distribution.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in producing, writing, and editing for a major news organization.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing a team of producers and writers.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to inform content strategy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead during breaking news situations and make editorial decisions quickly and effectively.
