Job Description:



As a Relationship Manager at Deutsche Bank, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with high net worth clients. You will work closely with our Investment Managers to provide a comprehensive range of wealth management services, including investment advice, portfolio management, and estate planning.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop and manage client relationships, providing a high-quality client experience
  • Be the primary point of contact for clients, resolving any issues or concerns they may have
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients, working closely with our Investment Managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Work as a team with our Investment Managers to build deeper relationships with clients, providing tailored investment advice and portfolio management services
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes, ensuring that our clients are fully informed and compliant
  • Act as the point of contact for clients who require lending or financing services, working closely with our lending specialists to identify and pursue new opportunities
  • Perform continuous market analysis to identify potential client leads and opportunities
  • Act as the accountable client owner, responsible for all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) aspects of the client relationship
  • Where clients are not assigned an Investment Manager, be responsible for the overall suitability and appropriateness of client investments, taking client execution orders where required and ensuring that all corresponding checks are performed
  • Participate in relevant client social events, as well as in PR and other marketing activities
  • Uphold the team's operating rhythm, leading by example and demonstrating role-model behavior
  • Work in close co-operation with other coverage, product and support functions to deliver Deutsche Bank's value proposition, leveraging other DB divisions where possible
  • Actively support the business growth strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performing team
  • Act within professional, legal and ethical boundaries and guidelines, observing all internal and external compliance regulations and code of ethics and conduct


Requirements:




  • A solid network of high net worth and ultra high net worth clients in the target regional coverage market
  • Detail orientation on both strategy and execution
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Superior investment acumen
  • A good understanding of the governing regulatory framework, including but not limited to applicable confidentiality / secrecy / data protection regulations and cross-border rules where relevant
  • Professional integrity
  • A self-starter with a minimum of 5 years of relevant wealth management experience for Vice President and at least 8 years of wealth management experience for Director and above
  • Fluency (written and oral) in English and the principal local language required for the covered market; other languages are a plus
  • Willing and able to develop other staff, e.g. analysts
  • CFA, MBA degree or other advanced degree a plus
