Job Description

The Distribution Manager will be responsible for leading our general insurance distribution efforts at Well Link Financial Group.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability in the general insurance distribution channel.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and manage strategic intermediary relationships.
  • Prepare business plans, provide technical support, plan product development, arrange pricing and reinsurance arrangements, evaluate risk, and formulate customer management strategies.
  • Ensure effective distribution of products and profitability through setting guidelines for all relevant departments.
Requirements
  • A professional qualification in a related field such as IIQE/ANZIIF/ACII.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in general insurance sales, servicing, underwriting, and business development functions with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Excellent understanding of class-specific underwriting, product knowledge, and policy documentation issuance and process.
  • Good technical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent command of written and spoken English and proficiency in Mandarin.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
