Our client is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive growth and excellence in their telesales team. As the Head of Telesales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, leading a high-performing team, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Lead and inspire a team of telesales representatives to achieve sales targets, recruit, train, and develop staff, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Strategy Development: Create and implement effective telesales strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration, identify new market opportunities, and enhance existing customer relationships.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales metrics and performance data to assess team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, prepare regular reports on telesales activities, trends, and forecasts for management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies and campaigns, provide feedback to improve product offerings based on customer insights.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the telesales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Technology Utilization: Oversee the implementation of CRM systems and sales tools to enhance team productivity.
The Ideal Candidate:
- At least 2 years of experience in a CRM Manager or Telesales role, preferably in the Consulting and Events / Conferences industry.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly goal-driven and able to work well in fast-paced environments.
- A self-starter with a high level of resilience.
- A strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
- Will to undertake 30-60% travel.
