We are seeking a skilled Technical Operations Specialist to support the success of our events.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is HKD $48,000 per month. Our benefits package includes medical, family medical, disability and life insurance, additional leave, and a staff referral bonus.


Key Responsibilities

The Technical Operations Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Operating and providing technical assistance for audio and visual equipment, guiding clients on the appropriate visual aids to use.
  • Conducting venue checks and coordinating repair and maintenance arrangements as needed.
  • Preparing event equipment, including furniture and audio equipment, ensuring they meet event specifications.
  • Monitoring events, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing prompt repair and assistance.
  • Collaborating with clients to assess technical needs and requirements for events.
  • Monitoring event setup, crowd control, and safety measures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Minimizing the risk of incidents during event setup and dismantle procedures.
  • Assisting in event logistics coordination, including equipment setup and inventory management.
  • Preparing event reports and documentation, submitting them as necessary.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in event operations or audio-visual support.
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of audio and visual equipment, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
