Job Title: Cloud Platform Support Manager

At Recruit Logic, we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Support Manager to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our cloud platforms to ensure a 24x7 service.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively maintain and develop all cloud platforms to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AWS cloud and manage the entire estate end-to-end.
  • Maintain best practices for managing systems and services across all environments.
  • Provide L1, L2, and L3 level server support similar to our current team.
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes on servers.
  • Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks.
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
  • Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
  • Provide on-call support during off-hours if needed.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery and BCP drills.
  • Manage physical server infrastructure using remote access.
  • Manage and maintain virtual machines in our internal ESX farm as well as in AWS.
  • Build new physical and virtual servers as per standards.
  • Fault find, analyze, and log information for reporting of performance exceptions.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and capacity planning.
  • Have knowledge of servers installed with cluster software and databases.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience with external cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Proficient in Linux, particularly RedHat in both physical and virtual environments.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying and commissioning physical/VM servers.
  • Experience or knowledge of various HPE or other server hardware and architecture.
  • Proficiency in automation using tools like Ansible or similar.
  • Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages like Shell, Perl, and/or Python.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
