Facilities Coordinator

M+ is a world-class museum committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our visitors. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our venue.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting senior management in building management functions by providing regular updates for informed decision-making.
- Collaborating with various departments to develop operational procedures and guidelines.
- Ensuring effective coordination between user groups and internal departments.
- Overseeing building management services, including maintenance programs and soft services like cleaning and waste management.
- Working closely with procurement to issue tenders in accordance with policy.
- Acting as a manager-in-charge for event operations, resolving incidents or situations related to facilities or equipment.
A successful candidate will possess:
- A recognised university degree in business management, facilities management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in hospitality or facilities management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing sizable venues with responsibilities in building management and/or venue operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Chinese.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
