About the Role

The Economist Impact team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Event Delivery Executive to support the delivery of high-profile events in APAC. As a key member of the events team, you will be responsible for managing event logistics, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring seamless execution of events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
  • Develop and implement event plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies
  • Collaborate with the programming team to develop engaging content and programming
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and reconcile financial records
  • Ensure timely disbursement of funds and adherence to funding guidelines
  • Prepare reports on event performance, including attendance, revenue, and feedback

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Excellent project and time management skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Excellent written and spoken English (additional language/s advantageous)
  • A results-oriented self-starter with the drive and determination to succeed
  • An excellent communicator, responding to enquiries quickly and effectively
  • An independent and resourceful team player
  • Well-organized and efficient with excellent time management skills to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
