Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Officer/Technical Officer to join our team in the Office of the Faculty of Business. The successful candidate will provide technical support for faculty websites and computer systems, handle users' enquiries, and develop and maintain websites/landing pages in support of the Faculty and the academic programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for faculty websites and computer systems, including software and hardware, servers and networks.
  • Handle users' enquiries and resolve technical issues for the Faculty.
  • Develop and maintain websites/landing pages in support of the Faculty and the academic programmes as a whole.
  • Administer and manage IT facilities of the Faculty, including system updates and new installations.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions, system errors, or other technical issues.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • At least 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in academic institutions.
  • Familiarity with website development and knowledge of skills in HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, etc. are preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting CMS will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
