About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our KPMG Private Enterprise (PE) team. As a key member of our go-to-market initiatives, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic growth and delivering integrated solutions to private clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Advisory and Compliance: Manage tax advisory and compliance assignments, including preparing tax advice and reports for clients.
  • Innovative Client Solutions: Develop and implement innovative ways to approach client needs, utilizing research into client businesses to initiate new service and product offerings.
  • HNW and UHNW Expertise: Understand the landscape of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, privately held family businesses, and family offices to address their business and family needs.
  • Project Management: Act as a project manager to work collaboratively with a team of KPMG subject matter experts in different service lines to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Industry Connections: Establish and maintain connections with external intermediaries, including industry associations, private bankers, lawyers, and trustees.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline, ideally with a professional qualification.
  • Minimum six years of experience in a professional services firm or financial institution, with knowledge and experience in HK tax law or PRC tax law required.
  • Direct client delivery experience in any professional services line is a plus.
  • Commercial and strategic mindset with the ability to connect the dots and turn abstract ideas into actionable plans and deliverables.
  • Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, with strong team management and project coordination skills.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, with Cantonese and Mandarin required.

We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
