You may wish to check out the related categories for more job opportunities. Job Description - Contract Part-time Assistant Social Work Officer (NTE ) REF. NO. NTE Pay : HK $39,485 to HK$87 ,341 (HGPS Point 16 to 33) per month including Monthly Allowance To be pro-rated based on the total package and work pattern for a full-time Assistant Social Work Officer depending on the work hours Key Responsibilities Provide psycho-social assessment and intervention. Process pre-admission and discharge planning. Render multi-disciplinary patient service. Develop volunteer services and run mass programmes for the hospital. Any job-related duties assigned by senior. Entry Requirements A degree in Social Work from a local university, or equivalent. A degree from a local university, or equivalent and have successfully completed a one-year post-graduate course in Social Work at a local university, or equivalent. A degree from a local university, or equivalent and have successfully completed a two-year post-graduate course in Social Work or possess a Master’s degree in Social Work from a local university, or equivalent. Equivalent qualifications are those recognised for registration with the Social Workers Registration Board. Registration with and a valid registration certificate issued by the Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board. Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese. Preferred Attributes / Exposure Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent. Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education, or equivalent. Proficient in interpersonal and communication skills. Strong drive to help (and utilize various social work approaches in patient care). Employment Details The selected candidate will be offered contract part-time employment for a period up to 1 year.
