Title & Summary Director, Services Business Development (Senior Managing Consultant) Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value‑added services and leverage expertise, data‑driven insights, and execution. Responsibilities Managing the Sales Process: leading end‑to‑end sales efforts from research and storyboarding to client presentations and contract signing. Engaging with the core payments teams to assess client needs and provide strategic guidance. Leading key regional and local strategic initiatives to grow the Services P&L. Ensuring product development efforts meet the needs of clients in China South. Overseeing project delivery through to successful completion while building strong client relationships. Achieving personal sales targets responsibly and ethically, with customer needs in mind. A position based in Guangzhou Office or Shenzhen Remotely, requiring occasional travel within China. Support the Core Payments Business Helping Mastercard win strategic proprietary & co‑branded programs to increase Mastercard’s share of spend in China South. Developing best‑in‑class Services programs to differentiate Mastercard versus competitors. Building and inculcating relationships to become a trusted advisor to Senior/Executive level clients. Qualifications Experience analyzing client needs and engaging senior executives at consulting presentations. Ability to develop compelling sales narratives influencing sales closure. Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop, and close a sale. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in Mandarin and English. Consulting experience from a top‑rated consulting firm. Highest level of self‑motivation with a hunting attitude. Analytic capabilities and modeling skills. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Corporate Security Responsibility Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices. Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed. Report any suspected information security violation or breach. Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
