Assistant Professor - Department of Science and Environmental Studies The Department of Science & Environmental Studies (SES) offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and undertakes research in Science/STEM Education, Environmental Studies and General Studies. Responsibilities Contribute to teaching and curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Obtain research funding and conduct research leading to publications in recognised refereed journals. Supervise students’ field experience, honours/Capstone projects and internships. Contribute to departmental activities and professional services for the community. Qualifications Doctoral degree in a related discipline. Strong research capability and an impressive teaching & research track record. Post‑qualification teaching experience in tertiary education preferred. Commitment to high‑quality teaching. Salary and Benefits Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The initial appointment will be on a fixed‑term contract. Fringe benefits include voluntary contributions to the MPF scheme or a contract‑end lump sum payment (up to 15% of the basic salary), leave, medical and dental benefits, and where applicable housing benefits.
