Assistant Professor - Department of Mathematics and Information Technology Department of Mathematics and Information Technology, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. The department is seeking an enthusiastic, qualified, and highly dedicated individual to engage in teaching and research activities in Artificial Intelligence in Education. Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conduct research, supervise student projects and field experiences, and undertake administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or a closely related discipline with expertise in Artificial Intelligence in Education. Active researcher with a growing publication record able to attract competitive external funding, post‑qualification teaching experience in tertiary education, commitment to high‑quality teaching. Fluent in English and ideally some knowledge of Cantonese and/or Mandarin Chinese. International experience is highly valued. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be on a fixed‑term contract. Fringe benefits include voluntary contributions to the MPF scheme or a contract‑end lump sum payment (up to 15% of basic salary), leave, medical and dental benefits, and, where applicable, housing benefits.
