Your role

You will partner with the Business to provide high quality HR advice and support to ensure sound decision making in managing their human resources initiatives.

Responsibilities

HR Strategy and Initiatives
  • Support the implementation of Pictet's HR strategies and key initiatives in the Hong Kong office, based on a solid understanding of Pictet's local sectors, functions, employees, and marketplace, thereby enhancing the talent attractiveness and business competitiveness of Pictet Hong Kong.
  • Lead ad hoc projects, and act as Payroll backup when required.
HR Consultation
  • Advise managers and employees on all relevant questions concerning both HR and organizational development matters related to employee life cycle activities as well as ad hoc requests to problem solve specific needs as they arise.
Recruitment and Onboarding activities
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates.
  • Proactively source qualified candidates and ensure effective execution of all recruitment and onboarding related processes whilst applying the Group HR principles.
Performance management and rewards
  • Influence and educate managers and employees on performance management approach.
  • Support managers by providing advice and guidance in the year end process.
  • Support compensation reviews within the matrix structure and challenge decisions made by managers to enable a fair outcome for all employees.
Learning, Development and Succession Planning
  • Ensure employee competencies correspond to current and future needs.
  • Facilitate and drive talent reviews and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with Pictet Academy to introduce effective learning and development initiatives to support leadership and employee development across all business lines.
Your profile
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of HRBP activities within the Private Banking Industry
  • Strong influencing and collaborative skills
  • Self-motivated and independent, solutions oriented with ability to identify process improvements
  • Solid team player with willingness to share and contribute to the team's success
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written), with a hands-on and positive attitude
  • Proactive and willing to go the extra mile to make a difference
Experience
  • At least 8 years' experience in the HR industry within the financial services industry
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, HR, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Experience in HRIS systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese, and preferably Mandarin
